New technology enables more efficient protection

New technologies now provides Long-Lasting, Insecticide-Treated Nets (LLINs) that do not need retreatment.
 
These new LLINs have been developed in response to low re-treatment rates of conventional insecticide-treated mosquito nets. An LLIN is a ready-to-use mosquito net that requires no further treatment during its expected life span (4-6 years on average).
 
The long-lasting technology of controlled release, where the insecticide slowly migrates to the surface to ensure efficacy throughout the lifetime of the net impregnation, offers constant and effective knock down of mosquitoes and other disease vectors after minimal exposure.
